DESCRIPTION |
Potassium salt of sorbic acid is obtained by the method of neutralization of sorbic acid with potassium hydroxide. It is widely used as a preservative (E202) in food products. The maximum permissible dosage of preservative potassium sorbate is 0.1% -0.2% by weight of the finished product. The chemical formula of the food additive is C6H7KO2. Externally it is a powder and white granules. |
